Sourced from several cooperatives, our Kenyan Arabica AA green coffee is grown on the Southern Slopes of Mount Kenya at Karimikui, Muthiga-ini and Kiringa.
The cherries are washed using fresh river water from the Kii and Kiringa Rivers before being sun dried.
The AA Grade represents the top grade based on a screening process primarily sorting beans by size (larger bean size being of higher quality). FAQ denotes occasional minor defects, whilst maintaining an excellent cup quality.
The cup characteristics of this Kenyan Arabica AA FAQ is of a bright, well balanced coffee with a bold body, pleasant sweet aftertaste and chocolate, citrus notes.
