Santa Barbara is located in the West of Honduras and has quickly gained a reputation for producing excellent coffees over the past few years. The volcanic soil coupled with the microclimate produced by Lake Yojoa makes for amazing conditions which produces these amazing coffees.
San Vicente is a mill in Santa Barbara started in 2001 by the Paz family. San Vicente now export and assist other farmers with a farming and processing.
This lot no. 68 from San Vicente is our second time offering from Honduras. This lot is specialty grade and ideal for an espresso base. It is clean with decent acidity. This is an excellent value coffee for the price.
This year we have looked to improve the quality of the cup by improving sorting at origin and removing minor defects such as stones which were found in 2015 crop.
